Beef Goulash Recipes
Goulash is a traditional Hungarian dish. It is believed to have originated with cattlemen, who worked on the Great Hungarian Plain (which lies partly in Hungary, but also extends into other neighboring countries), and therefore is traditionally prepared using ingredients and utensils that the ranchers in the were would be able to either carry with them, and not easy to obtain, if in the country.

The soup is simmered slowly and add other ingredients such as tomatoes (usually only a small amount), hot peppers, sliced potatoes and herbs.
